Domestic Relations Mediation Training and Domestic Violence Screening Training

Mediator Training Dates


State Court Administrative Office approved 40-hour Domestic Relations  Mediation Training as well as the required 8-hour Domestic Violence Screening  Training for one price.  

Antoinette Raheem, Esq. and Earlene Baggett-Hayes, Esq. will  conduct the virtual training on Zoom on the following dates/times: 

Monday, May 3rd: 8:30am - 12:45pm 

Tuesday, May 4th: 8:30am - 12:45pm 

Wednesday, May 5th:11am - 5:15pm 

Friday, May 7th: 8:30am - 2:45pm 

Monday, May 10th: 8:30am - 2:45pm 

Thursday, May 13th: 8:30am - 2:45pm 

Friday, May 14th: 8:30am - 5:30pm 

Domestic Violence Screening (8 hours) 

May 21st & 24th: 8:30am-12:45pm

Pricing & Requirements

Cost: $1095 general public/$595 volunteer* commitment 

*Volunteer rate requires that you complete 40 volunteer hours over a 24-month period

Domestic Mediation Volunteer Opportunities

The Wayne County Dispute Resolution Center (aka Wayne Mediation Center) offers a variety of opportunities for domestic mediators to gain experience and volunteer.  We have programs at the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center and the Penobscot Building in Detroit as well as at our offices in Dearborn.
